forty seven

That's when my voice called out to you!

Why it did, —I still don't understand.

And you came to me, as if guided by a star

That tragic autumn, stepping

Into that irrevocably ruined house,
From whence had flown a flock of burnt verse. *













(The installation with the shopping trolly remained in place some months before 'persons unknown' removed it.  Over that time, it was recorded often, when water surface and light were propitious. Images of it became the linking point for the four chapters for the book of tags, 'existence has no stated width'.)
